Saved file layouts
Saved column matches for each system you export from. A file that matches a saved layout has every column matched already, so the column check is one click.
Value translations
How words in your files, like "CVH-BOI" or "OV EST", map to your locations, services, providers and statuses.
Blank templates
Blank CSV templates for each kind of file, if your system lets you choose the columns.
Use these when your system can export to any layout you choose, or when you type data into a spreadsheet. Each template has the column names Clinic OS recognises straight away and one example row with invented data. Delete the example row before uploading.
How to use this page. The same text is in the full help.
- Open Imports from the sidebar.
- If something is under Waiting for you, click its button to carry on exactly where it stopped.
- To bring in a new file, click Upload a file.
- Click any past import to open its receipt: what was added, changed, skipped and rejected, and the option to undo it.
- Use the Rows rejected card to find rows that need fixing. Each receipt lets you download those rows, fix them and upload just them.
