Exports the 715 encounters that match your filters, one row per line, as a CSV file. The file contains protected health information. It is made in the background, only you can download it, and it expires after 24 hours.
Why are you exporting this?
For example: monthly reconciliation with the billing team
You'll be asked for your two-step code again because exports need a recent check (R2 H08). Every export is recorded in the audit log with its row count.
How to use this page. The same text is in the full help.
- Open Encounters from the sidebar (or the bottom bar on a phone).
- The list starts at this month, all your locations, newest first. Change the date, location, service line, encounter type, provider, Part of or status filters at the top.
- Type a patient's name or an encounter number (for example E-5001) in the search box to find one visit. Several encounter numbers separated by commas find all of them, which helps when checking a list from another system.
- Click a row to open the encounter, where you can see each line, payments, history, and make corrections.
- Click Record encounter to enter one visit, or Daily entry to enter many visits at once from a sheet.
- The cards and the table footer always total exactly the encounters that match your filters. Click a card to see the records behind it.
